FMINDK49 is a cold air induction system for the Alfa Giulia/Stelvio 2.0TB. With the huge success of the Quadrifoglio range of Alfa Romeos, there have been many performance products produced to cater for this segment, however we have found that the 2.0TB platform has been neglected for performance upgrades. The 2.0TB is already a strong performing engine but has potential for more power to be exploited with the right modifications. So, here at Forge, we have been developing a range of performance products to achieve this and the jewel in our crown is our induction kit, FMINDK49.
With FMINDK49 installed to the vehicle the first thing you will notice is a change in the acoustics to the engine tone. There is now a nice bark at low RPM and a steady induction roar all the way to the red line. The sound is not too intrusive and when driving conservatively, it’s all very civilised and refined.
With vast expertise and experience in air induction filter systems, the 2.0TB power unit needed an extensive amount of testing time to ensure that we ended up with a product that provided genuine improvements over the standard air box. We have increased the filtration surface area by 38% using either our Forge Ramair high flow, pleated, synthetic nanofiber filtration filter, or Pipercross foam filters, which have been manufactured for optimum size and to fit the available space giving superior flow and filtration with enhanced breathing.
The CAD designed, laser cut, and precision folded heat shield has been designed to form a barrier between the air inlet tract and radiant heat from the engine. It also helps duct the cold air to the air filter as the design incorporates the original cold air ducting which helps preserve low intake temperatures and in-turn produces an increase in power. We would expect to see gains of 6-7bhp and 15-18Nm of torque.
Aesthetically, FMINDK49 looks very purposeful in the engine bay and finished in our black textured powder coating, in all creates a superior high quality product, with an OEM look.
Why Do We Try To Decrease IATS?
Temperature and volume of air supplied to your vehicles engine that is compressed by the turbo charger, has a better effect on performance when cool, as this is to provide the engine with more oxygen (denser air), thus improving the combustion in each cylinder. In addition, by regulating and reducing the air temperature, it also increases the reliability of an engine by keeping the AFR's (Air Fuel Ratios) in each cylinder at a safe level; this in-turn, can increase an engines power due to the air being cooler. A bigger bang is then created within the cylinder, providing the correct amount of fuel is added. This can equate to an increase in BHP and torque. Manufactured in-house, and expertly welded together by our highly skilled craftsmen, this kit gives us the confidence to offer a lifetime warranty on all the hardware included.
Do I need a MAF Delete Pipe?
FMINDK49-MAF-DP is our add on pipe for or FMINDK49 induction kit when fitting to an Alfa Romeo 2.0 TB engine which is not equipped with a MAF sensor on the OE airbox.
Below shows the differences between the two options, if your vehicle has the airbox with the NON MAF then you will need FMINDK49-MAF-DP

Warranty Information
The majority of Forge Motorsport products come with a limited lifetime warranty. All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase to enable us to help you — failure to supply this proof will result in your claim or enquiry being denied. Please note that some products are excluded from the Forge lifetime warranty and instead carry their own specific warranty terms — for example, air filters, electrical components, coil packs, carbon fibre products, and suspension kits. Do not use aggressive (acidic) car cleaning products, particularly traffic film remover solutions or shampoos, to clean your intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler. The use of these products can damage Forge Motorsport cooling systems and invalidate your warranty. These are often found at car washes. A light, warm, soapy solution (free of harsh acidic cleaning compounds) should be used to clean your cooler, and thoroughly rinsed away afterwards. We recommend that you inspect your product regularly for bent and/or crushed fins — any bent fins should be carefully straightened to allow ambient air to pass through the core face. At the time of installing your Forge radiator, an approved coolant must be used. Be sure you never mix coolant types, and always use distilled water.
This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the supplier, failure to follow the supplier's instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the supplier's approval.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Ignition Coil Packs
Forge ignition coil packs carry a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects (not our Lifetime Warranty), from date of purchase. As coil packs are often swapped as a full set on suspicion rather than a confirmed fault, claims must identify the specific faulty unit(s) with supporting evidence (e.g. a diagnostic misfire code) and proof of purchase. Full sets cannot be claimed without this. See full terms and conditions for details.
Electrical Components
Electrical components supplied with Forge Motorsport kits — including solenoids, wiring harnesses and looms — are covered by a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects, rather than our standard Lifetime Warranty. This covers faulty materials or workmanship only, and does not cover damage from incorrect installation, water ingress, wear, incorrect wiring, or faults originating from your vehicle's own electrical system or other aftermarket electrical accessories. Heat Management Products (Turbo Blankets and Gold Reflective Heat Barrier)
Turbo blankets and our gold reflective heat barrier are covered by a 6 month warranty against manufacturing defects (not our Lifetime Warranty), from date of purchase. Turbo blankets cure and lose flexibility over their first few heat cycles as a normal part of fitting. Once heat-cycled they should not be removed. The gold reflective heat barrier is designed for components such as engine covers, intake pipes and induction trays, not for direct contact with exhausts or turbine housings. All Deliveries are sent via Fedex. We cannot guarantee delivery timelines as all orders are up to shipper schedules and routes. Delivery fee is a Flat Rate of $20 fo all orders over $20. Orders below that value are costed out based on weight. Signature required may be added to your package. Orders can not be re-directed, held, or re-scheduled.
Shipping outside of the Lower 48- Duty Charge Information
All Forge products are sold with a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) status and an import tariff may apply to your order. Customers will be contacted by the Customs and Excise authority in the destination country regarding payment prior to delivery, and it is important that correct contact telephone number and email information be submitted with the order to facilitate this part of the delivery process.
