Forge are proud to present the latest high performance intake for the popular 1.5 TSI Evo engine found in a large selection of vehicles from the VW, Audi, Skoda, and Seat range.
This kit features a Forge Ram Air high flow, pleated, synthetic nanofiber filtration filter, that has been manufactured for optimum size and fit to the available space giving superior flow and filtration with enhanced breathing for the 1.5 turbo charged engine. It also features a larger surface area than the stock filter and many competitors’ alternatives.
The intake diameters on these air intakes have been carefully tuned to provide exactly the correct quantity of air ensuring solid consistent power gains throughout the rev range without any loss of low-end torque. The pipework is specifically designed to feed the turbo without interruption. The upshot to all of this is a gain of induction acoustics under acceleration, which improves the driving experience and adds a bit more drama to the TSI EVO engine.
As with all our intakes we design high air flow is considered as paramount thus we endeavoured to incorporate a large bore silicone high flow pipe with turbo inlet adaptor included, this helps to aid the engines performance and air flow in several ways. Designed in a similar way to a conventional velocity stack, it routes the air more directly into your turbo charger and allows more air than the stock inlet tract to be compressed due to its larger capacity. This can have a positive effect on accelerating your vehicle after long deceleration or between gear changes as more air is being kept within the intake system.
The Forge developed inlet tract has more than a 50% increase in volume with the area at the mouth of the turbo increased to 46%. This, combined with no internal baffles or noise restrictors gives a helping hand to the vehicles acoustic notes and throttle response.
With the use of Solidworks®, our CAD engineers have designed the heat shroud to fit round all the contours of the engine bay. This shroud combined with our specially formulated thermal coatings protects the intake from radiant heat while also guiding the cold air from the OE cold air ducting to the filter and housing.
All of the billet components supplied have been made from 6082 Alloy and then anodised to ensure the alloy has no fatigue and stays without corrosion for years to come.
This kit completed with stainless steel high quality hose clamps has the usual unrivaled performance you would expect from Forge Motorsport.

During testing we have achieved gains of up to 11bhp and 13lb/ft throughout the rev range from 2900 RPM. When installed in conjunction with an engine remap and free flowing exhaust the figure can be far greater as the OEM intake system is restricted on high performance engines.The FMINDK30 combined with either our atmospheric dump valve kit FMDV22 or our recirculating valve kit FMDV30 certainly transforms the whole driving experience and engine note of your 1.5 TSI EVO engine. - The Forge silicone hoses in this kit have been designed to include an expensive inner liner of modified silicone known as Fluorosilicone.
- This means the hoses are suitable to be used with either modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.) or air containing oil mist.

Warranty Information
The majority of Forge Motorsport products come with a limited lifetime warranty. All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase to enable us to help you — failure to supply this proof will result in your claim or enquiry being denied. Please note that some products are excluded from the Forge lifetime warranty and instead carry their own specific warranty terms — for example, air filters, electrical components, coil packs, carbon fibre products, and suspension kits. This page is a summary only; a full and current list of exclusions, along with their specific warranty terms, can be found on our Terms & Conditions page.

Do not use aggressive (acidic) car cleaning products, particularly traffic film remover solutions or shampoos, to clean your intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler. The use of these products can damage Forge Motorsport cooling systems and invalidate your warranty. These are often found at car washes. A light, warm, soapy solution (free of harsh acidic cleaning compounds) should be used to clean your cooler, and thoroughly rinsed away afterwards. We recommend that you inspect your product regularly for bent and/or crushed fins — any bent fins should be carefully straightened to allow ambient air to pass through the core face. At the time of installing your Forge radiator, an approved coolant must be used. Be sure you never mix coolant types, and always use distilled water.
This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the supplier, failure to follow the supplier's instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the supplier's approval.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Ignition Coil Packs
Forge ignition coil packs carry a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects (not our Lifetime Warranty), from date of purchase. As coil packs are often swapped as a full set on suspicion rather than a confirmed fault, claims must identify the specific faulty unit(s) with supporting evidence (e.g. a diagnostic misfire code) and proof of purchase. Full sets cannot be claimed without this. See full terms and conditions for details.
Electrical Components
Electrical components supplied with Forge Motorsport kits — including solenoids, wiring harnesses and looms — are covered by a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects, rather than our standard Lifetime Warranty. This covers faulty materials or workmanship only, and does not cover damage from incorrect installation, water ingress, wear, incorrect wiring, or faults originating from your vehicle's own electrical system or other aftermarket electrical accessories. Heat Management Products (Turbo Blankets and Gold Reflective Heat Barrier)
Turbo blankets and our gold reflective heat barrier are covered by a 6 month warranty against manufacturing defects (not our Lifetime Warranty), from date of purchase. Turbo blankets cure and lose flexibility over their first few heat cycles as a normal part of fitting. Once heat-cycled they should not be removed. The gold reflective heat barrier is designed for components such as engine covers, intake pipes and induction trays, not for direct contact with exhausts or turbine housings. USA Deliveries
All Deliveries are sent via Fedex. We cannot guarantee delivery timelines as all orders are up to shipper schedules and routes. Delivery fee is a Flat Rate of $20 fo all orders over $20. Orders below that value are costed out based on weight. Signature required may be added to your package. Orders can not be re-directed, held, or re-scheduled.
Shipping outside of the Lower 48- Duty Charge Information
All Forge products are sold with a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) status and an import tariff may apply to your order. Customers will be contacted by the Customs and Excise authority in the destination country regarding payment prior to delivery, and it is important that correct contact telephone number and email information be submitted with the order to facilitate this part of the delivery process.
